The Brief
Create an original signature production for Walt Disney Studios Park, bringing Mickey Mouse and beloved Disney characters together through a new story designed for a 1,100-seat theatre and a demanding daily performance schedule.
My Role
Show Director, leading the production from creative development through rehearsals and opening.
Collaborated with writers, composers, choreographers, designers, illusion specialists, technical teams and performers to bring the story to life while ensuring creative quality, operational viability and consistency across multiple daily performances.
The Experience
As an apprentice magician, Mickey embarks on a journey to discover the true meaning of magic, guided by characters from beloved Disney stories. Live vocals, choreography, theatrical illusion, projection and scenic transformation create a richly layered production in which every encounter reveals a new kind of magic.
